Basketball
On November the 6th 1861 there was the birth of a great man who would invent one of my favourite sports. At the age of 30 he was given the task to create an activity or a sport for his Y.M.C.A class in Springfield Massachusetts.
In 1891 he came up with a game that started with two peach baskets on poles and a soccer ball and a ladder the ladder was to get the ball out of the basket. The team originally started with 8 people on each team. There are many famous players in basketball like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and James Harden.
